How Landa Club helped Melissa Toledo build a stronger consulting foundation and expand her network

Melissa Toledo shares how Cohort 9 gave her the network and the foundations to launch Constante Consulting.

Background

Melissa Toledo is the founder of Constante Consulting, an independent consulting firm she started in January 2024. As she began building the business, she was looking for more than information. She wanted guidance, perspective, and a community of people who understood what it was like to start something of their own.

The Challenge

Launching a consulting firm can feel isolating, especially when so much professional work and learning happens remotely. Melissa wanted to learn how to shape her consulting practice while connecting with people who had faced similar decisions and challenges. At the same time, she was figuring out what she wanted to focus on as a consultant and how to approach the practical side of building a business.

The Solution: Embracing Landa Club's Accelerator Program

Melissa joined Landa Club's ninth cohort, which kicked off in January 2024, at the same time she started Constante Consulting. The timing gave her access to both a peer network and educational resources while she was laying the foundation for her firm. The community became one of the most valuable parts of the experience, connecting her with people who shared similar mindsets, values, and ideas. Beyond the network, Landa Club's educational content helped her think through her focus and understand the different considerations involved in starting and growing an independent consulting practice.

Outcome and Impact

By the end of the experience, Melissa had expanded her professional network and gained valuable guidance for her consulting journey. She also had a clearer understanding of what she wanted to focus on and how to move forward with Constante Consulting.

Landa Club provided the combination she needed at the beginning of her independent career: a supportive community, practical education, and encouragement to take the next step. Her advice to others considering independent consulting is straightforward: don't be afraid to start.

My network is much larger now and with individuals who have similar mentality, values and ideas.
